BermudAir is enhancing its commitment to the retail distribution channel by announcing the appointment of Nicole Conrad and Ryan Lettow as Business Development Directors. This strategic move aligns with the airline’s recent partnership with Sabre and emphasizes its dedication to building robust relationships with travel advisors, host agencies, travel management companies (TMCs), and tour operators.
In an effort to celebrate Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, BermudAir has launched exclusive travel advisor rates for personal journeys, offering fares for just $50 roundtrip, plus applicable taxes and fees. These attractive rates are available for bookings and travel until June 30, 2025, covering any of BermudAir’s 13 routes connecting Bermuda with major cities across the US and Canada.
Business Development Focus
Nicole Conrad is set to spearhead BermudAir’s business development initiatives across several key segments. Her responsibilities will include the corporate, TMC, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors. Additionally, she will oversee the burgeoning Canadian market as BermudAir prepares to introduce its new twice-weekly service from Montreal to Bermuda, which is scheduled to commence on June 12.
Meanwhile, Ryan Lettow will be responsible for bolstering BermudAir’s leisure travel channels. His focus will be directed towards online travel agencies (OTAs), tour operators, and partnerships with host and consortia agencies.
Attractive Commission Structure
In a bid to incentivize travel agents, BermudAir offers competitive, non-contracted commissions of 4% on economy class fares and 8% on business class bookings. This commission structure is designed to foster collaboration and strengthen ties with their trade partners.
Commitment to Trade Partners
“This is a meaningful investment in the future of our indirect distribution channels and a clear signal of our commitment to our trade partners,” stated Leslie Peden, Senior Vice President of Sales & Distribution at BermudAir. This investment underscores the airline’s strategy to harness the full potential of the travel advisory network, ensuring that both travel agents and consumers can benefit from the growing travel options to Bermuda.
BermudAir’s focus on strengthening relationships with travel advisors and enhancing its distribution channels not only reflects the airline’s dedication to its business growth but also promotes a vibrant travel experience to Bermuda.
