This annual gala, hosted on December 5 at the scenic Sandals Grande Antigua Resort and Spa, recognized top-producing travel advisors from Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, the USA, and Europe for their commitment to boosting tourism in the twin-island destination.

This year proved significant for Antigua and Barbuda, marked by strong sales and an increased interest in travel to the islands. Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, emphasized how vital travel agent partners have become in enhancing the destination’s appeal. “Our top producers are as invested in the destination as we are,” he remarked, highlighting the passion of these advisors as a driving force in promoting the islands.

Their journey included a welcome reception at Tamarind Hills, land, and sea tours on Antigua, and a chartered flight with LiatAir to explore the recently opened Barbuda International Airport.
During their visit, advisors explored key attractions, including the Frigate Bird Sanctuary and the renowned Nobu Restaurant at Princess Diana Beach, coordinated by the Barbuda Council. The group was welcomed with light bites at a private jet FBO terminal built by PLH group and enjoyed lunch at Uncle Roddy’s.
