Porter Airlines has officially broadened its service offerings from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) with new international flights to Florida and Mexico. This expansion reflects their commitment to enhancing travel options for passengers based in the Greater Hamilton region.
Beginning December 12 and 13, 2023, Porter launched flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), respectively, operating three times a week. Shortly after, the airline will introduce service to Mexico, starting with Cancun International Airport (CUN) on December 17, featuring up to four flights per week, followed by Puerto Vallarta (PVR) on December 18, with two weekly flights.
All flights are operated on Porter’s modern Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which accommodate 132 passengers. These planes feature a comfortable two-by-two seating configuration, ensuring a pleasant travel experience. Passengers can also enjoy complimentary high-speed WiFi, as well as free beer and wine served in real glassware, and a selection of premium snacks. Those opting for PorterReserve fares will have access to fresh, healthy meals, while additional meal options are available for purchase with PorterClassic fares.

Porter Airlines initially began serving Hamilton in June 2023, providing domestic routes to prominent cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver, all of which continue to be offered year-round.
